Situada entre Colwood e o Malahat, e incorporando a cabeceira do Fiorde Finlayson Arm e o Monte Finlayson, a cidade de Langford oferece uma acessível diversidade de belos parques,lagos e atividades recreativas nestes espaços.
Langford pertence ao grupo de municípios que inclui Colwood, Metchosin, View Royal e Highlands, localizados a oeste de Saanich. Esta região é conhecida como Comunidades Ocidentais, ou "West Shore" (margem ocidental), e se estende do porto de Esquimalt à Rocky Point , ao longo da orla do Estreito Juan de Fuca.
O Parque Provincial Goldstream oferece visões espetaculares durante a migração anual dos salmões no outono (do final de Outubro ao final de Novembro), que pode ser observada das pontes e caminhos ao longo do tortuoso rio que corre para o Finlayson Arm. No parque Goldstream existem muitas trilhas e caminhos naturais interconectados. A beleza natural do local inclui uma exuberante e antiga floresta e uma linda cachoeira em Niagara Creek.

Langford is one of the municipalities of Colwood, Metchosin, View Royal and the Highlands, located to the west of Saanich. This region is known as the Western Communities, or West Shore, and stretches from Esquimalt Harbour to Rocky Point, along the shoreline of Juan de Fuca Strait.
Goldstream Provincial Park offers a truly spectacular sight during the annual salmon run in the Autumn (late October to the end of November), which can be viewed from bridges and pathways alongside the meandering river that flows into Finlayson Arm. In Goldstream Park many interconnecting nature walks and trails can be found. The natural beauty of the environment includes a lush ancient forest and a beautiful waterfall on Niagara Creek.
